Extra-Curricular STEM Education and Experience thru First Lego League (FLL)

As a FLL Team member, I had the opportunity to do

many project researches
meet subject matter experts in different industries
problem-solve with team mates,
code, build and program LEGO MINDSTORMS® robot
design innovative solutions to real-world problems relevant to the given themes which were food safety, recycling, energy, water conservation and few others

Won as a Team the Second Place Award for Robot Performance.
Won as a Team the Overall Performance Award at the virtual FLL qualifier competition
Member of the Team that qualified to participate in the virtual FLL State Championship .

Featured on the front page of the Lowell Sun for winning the Champions award at the FLL State Championship
Member of the Team that got Nominated for the Global Innovation Award for the project submitted at the FLL State Championship
Featured on the Hearing Health Foundation’s magazine describing the project submitted at the FLL State Championship

Active Member of the Team that Won the Championship award and Robot Performance award at the FLL regional competition (Ayer) and qualified to participate in the FLL State Championship (WPI)
Active Member of the Team that Won the Championship award and second place in the Lightning Rounds at the FLL State Championship (WPI)
Team qualified to represent Eastern Massachusetts at the FLL World Championship (Detroit, Michigan) in 2020.

Participated as a member of the team Pajama Llamas
Active Member of the Team that Won the Championship award and Lightning Rounds at the FLL regional competition (Nashoba Valley Technical High School) and the team qualified to participate in the FLL State Championship (WPI)
Active Member of the Team that Won second place in the Lightning Rounds and third place overall at the FLL State Championship.
Team qualified to represent Eastern Massachusetts at an international FLL championship in Legoland, California in 2019.

Participated as a member of the team Black Stormgears
Active Member of the Team Won the Project Presentation award at the First Lego League (FLL) regional competition (Nashoba Valley Technical High School)
Team qualified to participate in the FLL State Championship (WPI)

Participated as a member of the team Red Stormgears
Member of the team that received Award for Gracious Professionalism among team members.
